President Donald Trump said the United States will "take over" the Gaza Strip while speaking alongside Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu during a press conference. "The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it, too," Trump said at the White House.

Emotional scenes in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank as 183 Palestinians held in Israeli prisons are freed under a ceasefire and captive-for-prisoner swap deal between Israel and Hamas. Three captives – Keith Siegel, Ofer Kalderon and Yarden Bibas – have also been released in two separate locations in southern and northern Gaza.
