Nintendo announced Friday that pre-orders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 console will begin on April 24. It was also revealed that the initially announced console price of $449.99 will remain the same, as will the price of the Switch 2 and Mario Kart World bundle at $499.99.

Nintendo confirmed on its website today that Switch 2 pre-orders in the U.S. will officially start on April 24, two weeks after the originally scheduled April 9 start date. Two weeks ago, Nintendo showed off the Switch 2.

Following an initial delay, Nintendo has set the preorder date for its Switch 2 console for April 24. The Japan-based company has also decided to keep the upcoming product’s pricing at the previously announced $449.99 price tag amid President Donald Trump’s tariffs policy.
