A Hezbollah drone attack on an army base in central Israel killed four soldiers and severely wounded seven others Sunday, the military said, in the deadliest strike by the militant group since Israel launched its ground invasion of Lebanon nearly two weeks ago.

Israel’s military struck what it said was a Hamas command center embedded inside a hospital compound in the Deir al-Balah region of central Gaza early Monday. A witness told The Washington Post that tents housing displaced families within the al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital grounds caught fire as explosions rocked the area.
