A new report claims that Ryan Gosling—yes that very famous one from Barbie—is in negotiations to star in an upcoming Star Wars movie from Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy. And it sounds like his involvement has sent the project into hyperspace at Lucasfilm.

Ryan Gosling may be leaving Barbie Land for a galaxy far, far away. According to recent reports, Gosling is in talks to star in an untitled Star Wars movie from Shawn Levy, who's known for helming the blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine.

Ryan Gosling is reportedly in talks to join Levy’s film, and his involvement was enough to pull the director away from an upcoming project that would’ve got the Deadpool & Wolverine band back together. Not only that, but there’s a rush to make this thing yesterday.

If the deal makes, this would send the project into hyperdrive after two years of development and make it the next 'Star Wars' movie to go into production.
