Warring groups have turned the whole city of Parachinar and its surroundings into a war zone, where killing and torching of houses and all other properties have become common for the perpetrators.

The blood-soaked Parachinar valley is reportedly in a deadlock as ongoing efforts for peace have hit snags. After weeks of bloodshed, the convening of a Grand Jirga has twinkled a ray of hope.
