JetBlue apologizes after Boston-bound passengers scrambled for shelter due to a long delay in Turks and Caicos.

JetBlue Airways will pay the first-ever penalty for delayed and cancelled flights, and the federal government will split the amount with customers.

Hundreds of JetBlue passengers say that they were treated like "animals" after a flight from Turks and Caicos to Boston was delayed for more than 24 hours, and the airport kicked them out onto the streets.
