Jade Cargill has been making waves since returning to WWE at the Elimination Chamber 2025 Premium Live Event. However, an old incident concerning the former AEW star has come to light, with a report stating that she was involved in a backstage confrontation with a fellow female star, Shayna Baszler.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that there was a serious "confrontation" backstage involving Jade Cargill and Shayna Baszler "a few months ago". This happened "before" WWE ran an injury angle that wrote Cargill off of TV in November until her return at last weekend's Elimination Chamber PLE.

It was heavily implied at the recent Elimination Chamber 2025 premium live event that it was Naomi who was the one behind Jade Cargill’s mystery attack on SmackDown back in November, writing her off WWE television to deal with an alleged injury.
