A mass shooting in Lexington, Mississippi after a homecoming football game has left three people dead and eight others injured, authorities say.

Three people were killed and at least eight more were injured during a shooting in Mississippi early Saturday morning.

"It was chaos, to tell you the truth," the sheriff said. "The shooting just started and people started running."
