Opener Gongadi Trisha of India became the first person in the history of the Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup to hit a century. Her 59-ball unbeaten 110 in the process helped the defending champions trounce Scotland in their Group 1 Super Six game in Kuala Lumpur.

India secured a semi-final spot in the ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup by defeating Bangladesh. Despite rain delays in Kuala Lumpur, India dominated the match, restricting Bangladesh to 64 and chasing the target in 7.

With this win, India joined Australia and South Africa in securing their spots in the semi-finals of the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup with a game to spare.
