Leylah Fernandez says she is not interested in going back to the past but highlights that she would have nothing against sitting down with Emma Raducanu and speaking for the first time about their 2021 US Open final meeting.

Emma Raducanu suffered a third straight defeat in the opening round of the Abu Dhabi Open. The 22-year-old was beaten 6-3 6-4 by former Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova to add to her losses to Iga Swiatek in the third round of the Australian Open and to Cristina Bucsa in Singapore last week.

Emma Raducanu has crashed out of the Abu Dhabi Open in the first round after Marketa Vondrousova beat the British star 6-3 6-4 on Tuesday. The result means Raducanu has suffered back-to-back first-round defeats on the WTA Tour after her early exit at the Singapore Open last week.
