The Met Office has issued dire warnings for wind with the worst of Storm Eowyn expected to strike from the early hours of Friday across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Motorists and road users have been warned over the spread of bacteria from seats in cars, with the seats a breeding ground and desperately needing to be cleaned.
