Richard Allen, 52, is accused of killing the teens, who went missing Feb. 13, 2017, and were found dead the next day. Allen, of Delphi, was arrested in 2022 and faces two counts of murder and two counts of murder while kidnapping the girls.

The trial of Richard Allen, 52, entered its fourth day of testimony on Tuesday and included the previously unseen video. It came a day after the jury was shown gruesome crime scene photos of the victim’s dead bodies.

The graphic pictures shocked the court room and the jury. Some photos showed a close up of Libby's slashed throat and bloody face. The jury was clearly uncomfortable with seeing the images and there were audible gasps in the courtroom. The families of Libby and Abby were also in the gallery crying.

On Saturday, jurors were back to the courtroom in Carroll County to hear testimony from the man who was Delphi police chief when the girls were killed and from two men who played key parts in the following day's search for the girls — including one who found their bodies in the woods.
