If they weren’t Daryl and Carol and therefore indestructible, we’d be seriously stressed after watching Sunday’s The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. “L’Invisible” left both of our heroes at death’s door, and it sure didn’t look like death was gonna wait for them to knock before letting them in!

Back in the old days of The Walking Dead, character deaths had a real novelty to them. Similar to Game of Thrones during its peak, all bets were off — no character was too important to die except maybe Rick Grimes.

What is going on here? I wasn’t remotely sold on The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 2 in its first couple of episodes, but Episode 3 was a real step in the right direction, and Episode 4, “Le Paradis Pour Toi”,
