Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) has announced the temporary closure of her district offices following multiple violent threats directed at her staff. In a statement released from Washington, D.C., Tenney revealed that her team had contacted law enforcement three times in a single day to report the incidents.

Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-Cleveland) is condemning what she said were violent threats against some of her staffers. On Wednesday night, Tenney said that her local district offices were temporarily closed because of the threats. Those offices are located in Oswego, Canandaigua, Lockport and Watertown.

"I am appalled by these threats and am calling on everyone to express their First Amendment rights in a peaceful and compassionate way."
