Brad Marchand clearly still has the Toronto Maple Leafs’ number. Marchand was traded to the Florida Panthers in March after playing 16 seasons for the Boston Bruins. The trade paid dividends for the Panthers on Friday as the 36-year-old scored the game-winning goal in overtime to win Game 3 of the Panthers’ second-round series against the Maple Leafs.

After allowing two quick goals and then allowing the Leafs to build a 3-1 lead, the Panthers stormed back with three unanswered goals in the second period to build a 4-3 lead. It was a lead they would give up in the third period, but Brad Marchand did what he does best and sunk the Leafs with an overtime goal.

Mitch Marner scored the tiebreaking goal in the third period and the Toronto Maple Maple Leafs beat the Florida Panthers 4-3 to take a 2-0 lead in their second-round playoff series.
