New Sonic the Hedgehog 3 concept art showcases scenes which didn't make the final cut and drops some big hints about what's heading our way in the next movie after that big post-credits scene

In addition to Shadow's introduction in Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the film adds another familiar face during its mid-credits scene.

After previous reporting in December confirmed another Sonic sequel was in the works, Paramount has officially announced that Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will arrive in theaters in March 2027.

The second sequence showed Shadow the Hedgehog returning to Earth having seemingly survived his act of self-sacrifice when destroying the Eclipse Cannon. This could lead into the next movie, or it could kick off the spinoff series Keanu Reeves and Idris Elba have talked about.

Concept art for Sonic 3 might have just revealed how Metal Sonic and Amy join the story in Sonic 3 - and it could centre around time travel.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is set to hit theaters on March 2027. According to Variety, Paramount has scheduled the next Sonic movie to hit the big screen on March 19, 2027 give us two years until we see the blue blur back in action.
