Port Orchard Amber Alert canceled, suspect in custody
PORT ORCHARD, Wash. — An Amber Alert issued out of Kitsap County for a 17-month-old boy has been canceled. The boy is safe. The Washington State Patrol said that on Sunday at 11:31 p.m., the suspect, Andrew Gilbertson, forcibly took the boy from his mother in the area of Overaa Road in Port Orchard.
The pair has been the subject of an Amber Alert since Monday. Sophia was last seen at her home on Sunday. Day was last seen on security footage entering her residence the following day.
