A child who was the center of an AMBER Alert has been found, and his mother was in police custody on Tuesday, officials said.

Liam Smith, 9, was last seen in the area of the 17700 block of Northwest 14th Avenue in Miami Gardens. He was last seen wearing a light blue school uniform shirt, dark blue pants and black shoes. The child has a scab under his eye. According to FDLE, the child may be in the company of Tameeka Budwah.
