No one took home the $285 million Powerball jackpot on Monday, but one lucky lotto player in Virginia cashed in on a seven-figure prize sold at an area grocery store. Officials say that a second-tier winning ticket worth a whopping $1 million prize was sold at the Wegmans on Carl D.

More than 460,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $100,000, the lottery said. The Powerball jackpot has not been hit since Dec. 7, when a New York player won the $256 million grand prize, lottery officials said.
