California couple Walter and Yalda Seace had lived in Altadena for most of their lives before the deadly Los Angeles wildfires caused their home to completely burn down.

Until they saw the flames reach their home overlooking their home at the top of Altadena Drive on their Ring camera, the Seaces were hoping the blaze might miss them. They had evacuated suddenly, taking only a few essential belongings and their two dogs with them.

A California couple watched the Eaton Fire destroy their beloved home of 40 years “in the blink of an eye” through a doorbell camera as they fled with just a few cherished items and their dogs. The Altadena home where Walter and Yalda Seace built their lives was reduced to a pile of debris when the deadly fire tore through their neighborhood Tuesday.
