With a win over Brazil, Team USA clinched the tournament win for the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup. Led in part by Texas Longhorns star Madison Booker — Booker’s fourth goal medal so far — Team USA has now earned a spot in the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin, Germany.

TCU guard Olivia Miles helped lead Team USA to a Gold Medal in the AmeriCup championship against Brazil on Sunday night in Santiago, Chile. Miles scored eight points and added nine assists as Team USA beat Brazil 92-84. The Brazilian team was led by Chicago Sky center Kamilla Cardoso, teammate of former TCU star Hailey Van Lith.

Merchantville native Hannah Hidalgo was named to the AmeriCup All-Star 5 after leading Team USA to a 92-84 win over Brazil in the AmeriCup final
