A California man has been charged with drugging and sexually assaulting nine women over the course of three years, including one woman who died from the drugs, prosecutors said Friday.

Michael DiGiorgio faces multiple felony charges and is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting nine women at two of his South Bay homes from 2019-2021. Investigators believe there are more victims.

The man, Michael DiGiorgio, is also charged with murdering one of the women, who died after being drugged, prosecutors said.
