Speculation has emerged amongst James Bond enthusiasts that one of cinema's most famous faces may become a Bond Villain, as Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight is confirmed as the franchise's new screenwriter.

Tom Holland is playing it cool as the internet swirls with speculation over who will take up the mantle of James Bond. The British actor addressed the persistent rumours in a recent appearance on Gordon Ramsay’s YouTube channel, where he coyly acknowledged the buzz but stopped short of any confirmation.

Holland, best known for playing Peter Parker in several films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, admitted he was conscious of the rumours during an interview with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. “Listen, there’s speculation at the minute. We’ll keep it to a minimum for now,” he said, in a video posted on YouTube. “We’ll get there one day.”
