South Korean authorities have granted a request to extend a warrant to detain the country’s suspended President Yoon Suk Yeol for questioning over his surprise declaration of martial law last month.

South Korea's court on Tuesday granted the extension of the warrant to arrest the impeached President Yoon Suk-yeol, which was issued by the same court on Dec. 31 last year. The joint investigation unit,
