The Boston Red Sox are taking a deliberate approach with Alex Bregman in his return from a quad strain. So far, everything is going smoothly.

Boston manager Alex Cora said Thursday that Bregman will play two games between Friday and Sunday as the team closes its four-game set with the Rays at Fenway Park. Chances are Bregman will get Saturday off and then play Sunday in the team's final game ahead of the MLB All-Star break.
