The Detroit Sector of U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirms that an alleged member of a violent Venezuelan gang was recently arrested trying to cross from Canada into Michigan.

Agents arrested a member of a deadly street gang at the Michigan-Canada border. The U.S. Border Patrol said the arrest was made in Sault Ste. Marie this week. They are a member of Tren de Aragua, a brutal transnational criminal street gang from Venezuela known for human smuggling,
