The Golden Knights fell to the Wild, 5-2, in Game 3 of the First Round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs on Tuesday night at T-Mobile Arena as Minnesota evened up the series.

The Pacific Division champion Golden Knights downed the wild-card Minnesota Wild 4-2 to take a 1-0 lead in the teams’ best-of-seven first-round series.

Think back to 2022-23 when the Golden Knights won the Stanley Cup. They got progressively better as the playoffs continued. By the time they got to the Western Conference Final they were unstoppable. Somehow they were even better in a five-game dismantling of the Florida Panthers to win the Cup.
