In a report published in the WSJ on Tuesday, the SpaceX CEO allegedly texted one of his children’s mothers Ashley St. Clair while she was still pregnant. The text reportedly sent from Musk read, per PEOPLE, “To reach legion-level before the apocalypse, we will need to use surrogates.”

The unconventional family-building quest has reportedly led to what one woman called “harem drama,” with Elon Musk allegedly managing the mothers of his children through financial offers and tight-lipped confidentiality agreements.
