Weather Alert Day: When storms return to central OhioParts of central Ohio can see a slight risk (level 2/5) for severe weather. This is mainly west of the I-71 corridor. Heavy rains, strong wind gusts, and hail are the biggest threats.
While Ohio does not have a "flash flood alley" like the region of Texas devastated by the July 4 downpour, it has seen its share of severe weather requiring emergency alerts in recent years.
