Today's Xbox Partner Showcase gave us a look at Subnautica 2 - which is, of course, the third game in the Subnautica series. The new, direct sequel is set to launch into early access in 2025, and it's finally answering fans' prayers by adding multiplayer.

The first trailer fur Subnautica 2 reveals that the game is coming to early access in 2025. Developer and publisher Unknown Worlds has confirmed a four-player co-op mode will be available.

Some two years after it was confirmed to be in the works, developer Unknown Worlds has given a first look at the eagerly awaited Subnautica 2 - with the underwater survival sequel's debut trailer having now arrived alongside word it'll be entering into early access next year.
