Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has given birth to her third child, a daughter, her office announced Tuesday morning. Wu's office said in a statement that she gave birth on Monday afternoon, a day shy of her 40th birthday. Wu and her husband Conor Pewarski already have two sons together.
Wu is the newest member of a tiny but growing group of prominent women politicians who have delivered children while serving in office.
