Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty is addressing a her controversial decision not to charge a man accused of vandalizing multiple Tesla vehicle and is announcing that 11 Hennepin County Libraries will now provide free gun locks.

A man accused of scratching six Teslas, totaling more than $20,000 in damage, will be referred to an adult diversion program instead of facing criminal charges, the Hennepin County Attorney's Office said.
