The New York Yankees came out victorious in a nail-biter at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday. Had Juan Soto stayed in the Bronx, the Yankees would have likely lost that game.

But that was always the deal. Soto got the money, the suite and the personal perks for his family and lost that protection. While Judge, who has six homers to Soto’s two, shrugged it off, not everyone in the Bronx was so generous.
