The Indiana Fever will attempt to take down the defending WNBA champion New York Liberty on Tuesday night without their superstar player Caitlin Clark.
Nowhere was that more evident than on July 3, when the Fever demolished A’ja Wilson’s Las Vegas Aces at home. McDonald ran the offense flawlessly, dropping eight points with seven assists and seven rebounds in the 81-54 victory. She finished with a game-high plus-26.
The Fever's matchup against the Los Angeles Sparks was Clark's fifth straight missed game. During her second season with the Fever, Clark has posted 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game.
