HOUSTON — Houston police are searching for two suspects involved in a home invasion that turned deadly in southwest Houston Wednesday. It happened at an apartment complex on Leawood Boulevard near Bissonett Street.

HOUSTON - An alleged suspect has died, and a victim is in a hospital after a home invasion in southwest Houston that led to a shootout. The shooting was reported at about 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the 9700 block of Leawood Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found a man in the parking lot that had been shot at least one time.

Police described the suspected shooter as a Black man with yellow- or gold-tipped locks who is approximately 5-foot-8 and was wearing all-black clothing.

An 18-year-old has died following a shooting early Thursday morning, according to the Salisbury Police Department.

A man has been charged with an 18-year-old's shooting death that happened last month outside a Houston apartment complex. Police believe he was one of two suspects involved in the shooting.
