As Philadelphia celebrated a historic decrease in gun violence over the last four years, the city saw fewer shootings of teens and young people, bucking a national trend. But now, even as Philly homicides continue to plummet, more children and teens are wielding guns.
An 18-year-old and a 13-year-old are facing charges after Marion County deputies say they pointed a BB gun at children. Investigators said the juvenile and 18-year-old Alexis Diaz, were on a bike riding past a home before pointing the BB gun at kids who were playing outside.
