The Los Angeles Dodgers signed Korean Baseball Organization star Hye-seong Kim to a three-year deal on January 3. He would presumably take over as the team's everyday second baseman. That could mean the Dodgers no longer need one of their longtime starters.

The deal also has a two-year option that could take it up to $22 million in total value. The Dodgers somewhat came out of nowhere for Kim, and now have landed one of the top international free agents available this offseason.
