Xbox Cloud Gaming will be available on select LG smart TVs later this year, Microsoft has announced. The feature will enable Game Pass Ultimate members to play their games directly from the Xbox app on supported TVs via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Xbox has partnered with LG Electronics to bring the Xbox App to LG Smart TVs. From February 18, some LG Smart TVs will offer the Xbox App, enabling Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to stream selected games from their collections via the cloud.

Xbox is ringing in the new year by taking yet another step toward its promise of making everything an Xbox: by announcing it will add the Xbox app to LG TVs later this year.

Your LG Smart TV could indeed be an Xbox via streaming and let you play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 without a console.
