Ireland condemned Wales to a record-extending 15th straight rugby loss after overcoming a 20-minute red card to rally for a 27-18 win and stay on course for an unprecedented third straight Six Nations title on Saturday.

So Ireland march on but boy did they get a scare here in Cardiff. Jack Conan scored early but Garry Ringrose's 20-minute red card allowed Wales to lead at half-time through Jac Morgan's try. Jamie Osborne continued Ireland's fight-back as they level to game at 18-18 with 25 minutes left to play

Wales interim Matt Sherratt struck an upbeat tone and told his side to block out external noise following their 27-18 loss to Ireland on Saturday. The hosts were 23-point underdogs in Cardiff but looked to pull off an upset for the ages as they took an 18-10 lead at the start of the second half.
