PM Modi arrived in Prayagraj around 11 a.m., where he was received by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath . Before the ritual, he took a ferry ride at the Maha Kumbh, greeting and waving to citizens who had gathered for the auspicious event.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday, took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam at the ongoing Mahakumbh in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj.

The Triveni Sangam is the confluence of Ganga and Yamuna and is the site of Maka Kumbh where nearly 30 crore people have taken the dip so far. Hindu religious belief says that mythical river Saraswati also joins Ganga and Yamuna at Sangam.
