Michigan’s football program has dipped into the transfer portal to land a new long snapper for 2025. UCLA’s Trent Middleton announced his commitment to the Wolverines on Thursday in a social media post.

Michigan has added to its special teams through the transfer portal with the commitment of long-snapper Trent Middleton.

Michigan landed Indiana wide receiver Donaven McCulley right away when the transfer portal opened which was nice given he's a 6-foot-5 body, but the Wolverines haven't been able to bring anyone else into the fold -- yet.
