Former Blue Bomber star Willard Reaves is not one to mince words, but he thinks the NFL did just that when it decided to change a slogan that’s become a regular sight at football games for the last few years.

“End Racism,” one of the phrases teams started using in end zones in 2020 as part of the league NFL’s “Inspire Change” initiative, was notably stenciled into the back of one of the end zones during the NFC Championship game at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.

In 2020, slogans such as “End Racism,” “It Takes All of Us,” “Stop Hate,” “Choose Love” and “Vote” became part of messages in stadiums across the country.
