Southern University has launched a student judiciary process after the death of one of its students. This procedure comes after Caleb Wilson, 20, of Kenner, died in an “off-campus and un-sanctioned Omega fraternity ritual”.

In a statement released Tuesday, Southern said hazing is a violation of the school's rules and regulations, as well as a violation of state law.
