President Trump joined Gov. Ron DeSantis and other leaders for a tour of a migrant detention center in the Everglades.

There was no evidence of the onetime rivalry between Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis as they came together for the opening of the "Alligator Alcatraz" immigrant detention center.

Trump and DeSantis have a complicated history, with the president’s endorsement propelling the little-known congressman to the governor’s mansion in 2018. In a television ad, DeSantis sat with one of his children and used mock bricks to build a border wall.
