Plano police said the woman accused of hitting a girl walking to school had just dropped a child off at the same school before the incident occurred.

Zulma Beltran was being held in the Plano jail and is facing a collision involving personal injury charge, according to a news release. It’s not immediately clear if she has a lawyer.
