The Phillies turned the tables on the Mets after falling behind 3-0. The Phillies put up three runs in the sixth, added three more in the eighth and won it on Nick Castellanos' walk off single. Castellanos also hit a home run, as did Bryce Harper for the Phillies. Brandon Nimmo and Pete Alonso homered for the Mets.

The Philadelphia Phillies were eliminated by the New York Mets in the NLDS, as they lost in four games. It was a frustrating end to the season for the Phillies, as despite coming into the postseason as one of the best teams in baseball with very minimal flaws from the regular season,

The New York Mets are one win away from the NLCS. Tuesday evening at Citi Field, the Mets pulled away from the Phillies in Game 3 of the NLDS for a 7-2 win, and once again shut down Philadelphia's offense through the first six-plus innings.
