Maybe Happy Ending was the top winner at the 2025 Tony Awards, winning six awards including best musical, best original score written for the theatre and best book of a musical. Will Aronson and Hue Park were winners in all three categories – with Aronson and Park being among the producers of the musical.

Darren Criss is now a Tony winner. Criss won his first Tony Award on Sunday night for best actor in a leading role in a musical for Maybe Happy Ending, which is an original musical. He thanked his co-star in his acceptance speech.

The Tonys ceremony is airing live on CBS from 8 to 11 p.m. ET., with streaming available via Paramount+. Nominee Darren Criss (“Maybe Happy Ending”) will join Tony and Grammy winner Renée Elise Goldsberry to host “The Tony Awards: Act One,” a live pre-show, streaming for free on Pluto TV from 6:40-8 p.m. ET.
