The New York Jets have interviewed current ESPN NFL analyst Louis Riddick for their vacant general manager position. Riddick, 55, has never held the GM title in the league before, but he has been a coveted interview candidate for vacant jobs in recent years and is a well-respected pundent in his industry.

Rivera is the first known person to interview for the head coach role after the team fired Robert Saleh in October and named Jeff Ulbrich the interim bench boss.

Days before the conclusion of their tumultuous season, the Jets interviewed another candidate for their general manager vacancy.

Ron Rivera made the playoffs four times in nine years with Carolina, including a loss in Super Bowl 50, and once with Washington. Louis Riddick, a former NFL defensive back and current ESPN analyst, spent 13 seasons working in the front office for Washington and Philadelphia.
