A 41-year-old Kenosha man is accused of burglary and homicide in what police described as a suspicious death that occurred earlier this week.

Kenosha police arrest a man in connection to a deadly stabbing on Monday. Officers found the body of a 52-year-old man with knife wounds in the basement of a home near 18th Avenue and 85th Street. A dog with similar wounds died shortly after police arrived on scene around 2:30 p.m.

A 52-year-old man and his dog have been stabbed to death in their own basement after an alleged intruder broke into their home, police said.

The 52-year-old victim will not be identified at this time out of consideration for the family, authorities stated.
