Indianapolis is the 13th city to host All-Star weekend, which was played primarily in the New York to Washington corridor during its first decade of existence and has moved West more recently. Last year's game was in Phoenix, and Las Vegas hosted three of the previous five and could be in the mix next summer, too.

Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell will participate in her third straight All-Star game on July 19. Mitchell said she’s ‘grateful’ for the nod.

“Kelsey Mitchell has been named a starter for Team Clark in tonight’s All-Star Game,” posted the Indiana Fever. Team Caitlin Clark coach Sandy Brondello, the head coach of the New York Liberty, made the decision to start Mitchell given the injuries on the roster.
